What do we see in this work of art?
This poster-printed mural “Yellow Orchid” shows a close-up of the flower of the same name. The photographer did not focus on the entire plant, but only on the center of the flower. Here we see a special play of colors that only our nature can produce. The leaves inside the plant are bathed in a bright yellow that slowly fades into orange, with the outer areas shining in a soft white. In the middle of the flower you can see an orange structure covered in red dots. The red lines that extend to the left and right sides look almost like angel wings. The artwork is primarily white. This “color” is often unpleasant for the eyes, especially when clean and on large surfaces, but the flowers make the transmitted light appear diffuse, thereby taking away its dazzling character. The large proportion of white draws the viewer's eye directly to the warm colors and the hypnotizing details of the orchid.
Where can this mural hang?
A poster of the artwork “Yellow Orchid” combines the natural beauty of the flower with a heavenly radiance created by diffused soft light. The mural has a calming aura and should be hung in places where people can benefit from it, such as a waiting room but also a break room.
